Effective 25 October 2026 · Last updated 25 October 2026
In short: OceanLaunch runs your apps for you. Use it lawfully and don't use it to harm others or the
platform. You own your code and data. While we're in early access the service is free and provided as it is,
without guarantees. We may suspend apps or accounts that break these terms. Indian law applies, with courts in Chennai.
This summary helps you read the terms; the sections below are what count.
1. Who we are
OceanLaunch (“OceanLaunch”, “we”, “us”) is operated by Arulraj, an individual based in
Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. OceanLaunch provides the website at oceanlaunch.cloud, the portal at
portal.oceanlaunch.cloud, and the hosting of apps at addresses under apps.oceanlaunch.cloud and on domains
you connect (together, the “Service”). You can reach us at
support@oceanlaunch.cloud.
2. Agreeing to these terms
By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms of Service and to our
Privacy Policy. If you use the Service for an organisation, you confirm that you may
agree on its behalf, and “you” includes that organisation.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service.
3. Your account
Give accurate information, including a working email address, and keep it up to date.
Keep your password and your two-factor authentication device secure. Two-factor sign-in is required on
every account. You are responsible for everything done through your account.
Tell us straight away at support@oceanlaunch.cloud if you
think someone else has accessed your account.
An account is for one person. Workspaces let several people work together; don't share sign-in details.
4. Your apps and content
“Your content” means the code, files, repositories, settings, environment variables and data you or your
apps put on the Service, and what your apps show to their visitors.
You own your content. We don't claim any ownership of it.
You give us permission to store, copy, build, run and serve your content, and to make it available at
the addresses you choose, only as needed to provide the Service to you. This permission ends when you
delete the content, except for copies kept for a short time in backups as described in the Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for your content and your apps: that you have the rights to use them, that they
follow the law, and that they handle the personal data of their users lawfully. For that data you
decide how it is used; we only process it to run your app.
Keep your own copies of your code and important data. We take backups of the platform, but they exist to
restore the Service, not as a backup service for your data.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service, or let your apps be used, to:
break any law, or help someone else do so;
host or distribute malware, phishing pages, scams, or pages that impersonate someone else;
send spam or unsolicited bulk messages;
mine cryptocurrency, or run work that uses resources far beyond a normal web app (like stress tests aimed
at others, or public proxies and VPNs);
attack, scan or probe other systems or networks without permission, including denial-of-service attacks;
try to get around the Service's limits, security or the isolation between customers, or access data or
apps that aren't yours;
host content that infringes others' copyright, trademarks or other rights;
host child sexual abuse material, content that promotes terrorism or violence, or content that harasses,
threatens or discriminates against people;
resell or give others access to the Service as if it were your own hosting product, without our written
permission.
If you find a security weakness in the Service, please report it privately to
support@oceanlaunch.cloud and give us
reasonable time to fix it before telling anyone else. Don't access other customers' data while testing.
6. Suspension and removal
We may stop or remove an app, or suspend or close an account, if we reasonably believe it breaks these
terms or the law, puts other customers or the Service at risk, or if we are required to by law or by an
order from a court or government authority. Where it's safe and lawful, we'll tell you why and give you a
chance to fix the problem first; in urgent cases (for example malware, phishing or an attack) we may act
immediately. You can ask us to review a decision by writing to
support@oceanlaunch.cloud.
7. The service, early access and changes
OceanLaunch is in early access (beta). Features may change, and some may be added or removed as the
product develops. We'll give reasonable notice before removing something you rely on, when we can.
We work to keep the Service available and secure, but we don't promise that it will be uninterrupted or
error-free, and there is no uptime guarantee during early access. We may need maintenance windows.
Each plan has limits, such as the number of apps, memory and CPU per app, and upload size. These are shown
in the portal and on the pricing page.
8. Plans and fees
During early access the Service is free. Paid plans may be introduced later. Before any fee applies,
we'll tell you by email and on the pricing page, and you will only be charged if you choose a paid plan.
Prices for paid plans, payment terms and refunds will be set out when they launch.
9. Third-party services
The Service connects to services run by others when you choose to use them, such as GitHub, GitLab,
Bitbucket and Codeberg for your repositories, and your domain name provider. Your use of those services is
governed by their own terms. We aren't responsible for services we don't run.
10. Ending your use
You can stop using the Service at any time. You can delete your apps, and your account with the workspaces
only you own, from the portal yourself (Account → Security), or write to
support@oceanlaunch.cloud from your account's email address and
we'll do it for you. Deleting your account can't be undone. We may end the Service, or close your account,
as described in section 6, or by giving at least 30 days' notice by email if we stop offering the Service.
Sections 4 (ownership), 11, 12, 13 and 14 continue to apply after your use ends.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no
warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that the Service will meet your needs, be available
at any particular time, or be free of errors or loss of data.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows:
we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as loss of profits, revenue, business,
goodwill or data, even if we were told they were possible; and
our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you
paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, and ₹1,000.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud.
13. Indemnity
If someone makes a claim against us because of your content, your apps or your breach of these terms, you
agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses from that claim, to the extent the law allows.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If a dispute comes up, please contact us first; most issues
can be solved quickly. Any dispute that can't be resolved this way will be subject to the exclusive
jurisdiction of the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
15. Grievances and contact
For questions, complaints, or to report content or apps that break these terms, contact our Grievance Officer:
We'll acknowledge a complaint within 24 hours and aim to resolve it within 15 days.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the Service changes. For significant changes we'll email account holders at
least 14 days before they take effect, and show the new date at the top of this page. If you keep using the
Service after that, the new terms apply; if you don't agree, you can stop using it as described in section 10.
